Pumpkin Fun at the Arboretum

We love the pumpkin festival at the Dallas Arboretum and we were so excited to take Aaron again this year. Last year he was still kind of a lump and didn't quite get into it. This year was completely different! He loved the pumpkins and we had fun chasing him around! Even though we are planning our move to Kansas, we hope to still make pumpkin festivals a tradition during the wonderful Fall season.

Posing for the camera with his new pumpkin shirt!

Aaron loved the little pumpkins because he could carry them around.

Aaron ran everywhere! We were all exhausted after this fun day!

Of course he tried to eat the pumpkins!

He was super frustrated that he couldn't pick this big pumpkin up and carry it around. So funny :)

It was another sweet family day! What a blessing this little boy is!
He brings us more joy than we ever thought possible!

Mommy & Aaron

Since I'm usually the one taking the pictures, it's rare that I'm actually in a picture with Aaron. So here's one we found...I do exist!

15 Months Old--Model in the Making :)

Aaron at 15 months old is quite the handful! He is interested in everything and some days it's hard to keep up! He loves to read books together and will often bring the books to us to read. He gets very excited about seeing birds and will point to them and say "bir." He likes to figure out how things work and is very curious. He LOVES bathtime and hates when it's over. He does not like to sit still. He is starting to "dance" to the beat and will bounce up and down to music. He can show you where his belly, nose, teeth, toes, head and ears are. One of the first things we taught him (of course) was Touchdown. So when we say touchdown during a football game, Aaron will put both hands up and get really excited! It's pretty cute. He also loves to play any hide and seek games where we have to find him or he has to find us. He is at such a fun age and his personality is showing more and more. Can't wait to see what he's up to next!

Impromptu Photo Shoot: He loves the camera these days and I think we could have America's Next Top Baby Model right here....

Daddy and Aaron

My 2 favorite people in the world! Love this pic of them!

Around the House

So when Aaron started to walk and became the busiest boy in town, we realized we needed a new fancy camera to keep up with our little man! These are just some pictures of us trying out the new camera and playing with Aaron around the house!

This boy loves the vacuum! He is mesmerized by it everytime we pull it out!

Who me?? I didn't do it :)

Love that sweet face :)

First Trip to the Zoo!

In October, the weather was so perfect and we decided to take Aaron to the Fort Worth Zoo. He loves the animals in his books and when he sees them, so we thought he would love the zoo! Jarrett took a day off of school and we had a wonderful family day! We took a million pictures, so I'll try to just post the best of the day!

Getting ready to head into the zoo!

This was Aaron's face most of the day! He seemed to be very interested in the animals and loved being outside! Shocker.

We visited the monkeys first...he thought they were great!

Mommy and Aaron on the train!

Daddy and Aaron on the train! Aaron loved the train just about as much as the animals--maybe more :)

Aaron peeked in on a cow! Thank goodness for Daddy lifting him up to see the animals!

We let Aaron stretch his legs..and of course he took off! He loves to run and be on the go!

Checking out the penguins...

We came across this statue of a kangaroo and we think Aaron thought it was real. We put him up next to it and he reached out to touch it and hold it's hand...pretty cute :)

Aaron got to see giraffes and elephants! They were pretty far away and if it wasn't for Daddy, the day would have been a bust. We think Aaron will love the zoo even more as he gets older and can really see the animals!

It was such a fun and sweet family day! Love making these memories and we can't wait to visit the zoo again!

This was taken as we pulled out of the parking lot--about 1 minute after getting in the car :) I think it was a pretty successful day!

Merry Go Round

The Summer of 2011 in Texas was one of the hottest on record. So needless to say, we were looking for some fun indoor activities in August! My Mom and I took Aaron to the mall one day and realized it was time for him to ride the Carousel!

Here is waiting to go...and checking this thing out.

He's all saddled up and ready to go. Thankful that Grammy was there to make things more fun!
Yay!! So excited to go for a ride!!

Then it starts to move and we aren't too sure......

but after about 30 seconds, Aaron thought it was soooo much fun! We now take him to ride the carousel everytime we are at the mall!
